Carolyn Bennett will present an enlightening program regarding women artists and their gardens. While gardens have been a favorite subject of artists, the works of female artists are not as well known as those of their male counterparts.  Ms Bennet will use the women's words and images of their works of art in various forms and media so that we can appreciate their contribution despite the challenges they faced.

Carolyn Bennett currently lives on a farm in Ojai, California and is originally from the Midwest.  Ms. Bennet has a Masters Degree in the Conservation of Historic Landscapes, Parks and Gardens from the Architectural Association School of Architecture. She has held several leadership roles in various cultural and historical organizations including the Hancock Park Garden Club and GCA.

A delicious three-course lunch will follow the program.  Wine and cocktails will be available for purchase.

The Junior Garden Club of Lake Forest is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
