A Traditional Chinese Tea Demonstration

We look forward to seeing you at the beautiful interior design destination, Sheridan Home Interiors, and enjoying a traditional Chinese tea demonstration.  Yvonne Wolf, an intercultural consultant and educator, will give us a brief background on the origin of tea, its many benefits and its role in East Asian social interactions. She will demonstrate the ritual of tea handling, tea ware function and identification, and proper tea steeping. Yvonne will offer two types of tea tasting, including one non-caffeinated option.  Yvonne Wolf, born in Taiwan and educated in Europe and the United States, has given numerous popular and entertaining presentations at libraries, museums, and community centers in Northern Illinois.
